The aim of Yoga Academy which was established in 2001 is to carry out a scientific Yoga education , offer the Yoga techniques as they are, improve people’s physical, mental, spiritual health and help their spiritual evolution.
The trainings provided at Yoga Academy are based on the Original Yoga System, more clearly, based on a deep philosophy, scientific explanations and experimented, correct techniques.
Today, it became possible to come across with the “yoga” types or schools widely which are offered to humanity under many different names, far from the original.
Although they are adaptations from The Original Yoga System, these mentioned practices don’t have the positive effects and benefits of the original system as they have lost their integrity.
From time to time, it’s observed that some people, fallen into the clutches of ego, give their own names to Yoga, add some practices to known Yoga techniques which are not in the system and unfortunately make Yoga unrecognizable. Sadly, we must say that those kind of practices performed under the name of “yoga” harm human health.
Additionally, frequent use of the Word “yoga” by some sects belonging to Hinduism religion in order to hide their true identities and spread Hindu beliefs; their efforts to brainwash and indoctrinate Hinduism by acting under the name “yoga association” draw attention.
In Istanbul, the Hinduism sects acting under the names “sahaja yoga”, “kaivalya yoga”, “kundalini yoga”, “ashtanga yoga”, “hatha yoga”, “ananda yoga”, hariom yoga”, “integral yoga” and so on use the word yoga as a screen and deceive people.
The trainings provided at Yoga Academy are free from speculations and harmful beliefs. Our goal is to offer the Original Yoga System as it is and enable everyone make use of numerous benefits of yoga.
